We knew when we decided to start Flint & Field that we wanted to find a way to give back to the community. However, we weren't sure at the time what made the most sense or which organization would be a good fit.
Uplift Organization
In 2017 we discovered a local non-profit, the Uplift Organization, who is doing wonderful things for the homeless population in Kansas City. They survive solely by donations and a commitment from community members to provide basic human needs, such as food and clothing, care and compassion to those who are homeless. We knew that Uplift was exactly how we could give back.
Our Pledge
So, from 2018 forward, we've decided to pledge 5% of all sales, not just profits, to Uplift Organization. Donations will be made quarterly to ensure funds are available to them on a regular basis.
Flint & Field has the privilege of making goods for you to wear and display in your home. We hope, through our contributions to Uplift, to make a positive impact on those without walls to hang a print or clothes to keep them warm during the brutally cold months.
